| Working with others, the Coastal Group has created a plan for how we think the North West England and North Wales coast should be managed over the next 100 years. These plans need to consider the social, economic and environmental effects of the different ways that we look after our coast. Once completed, the Shoreline Management Plan 2 (SMP2) will be used to shape Local Authority and Environment Agency coastal policy and planning and will make sure that a consistent and reasonable approach is taken. We need your views and knowledge to make sure that the plan sets out the right course of action for people, their homes, business and the environment. |
